My name is Dr. Jennifer Brown, I am a long time resident of Grundy County. I started my education background at Motlow State Community College getting my Associates Degree then going onto Middle Tennessee State University and receiving my Bachelors Degree. After that, I began teaching at North Elementary School. While teaching I earned my Master’s Degree from Tennessee Tech and continuing on at Carson Newman and earned my Doctoral Degree. Education is my passion. Many educators played an important role in my life as I was growing up. I want to be able help students the way I was helped while attending Tracy City Elementary and Grundy County High School. I love the people of Grundy County and being able to give back to my community. I have been at North Elementary for fifteen years. Twelve of those years teaching 5th and 6th grade math and the last three as principal. My goal for students at North Elementary is to receive the highest quality education possible along with skills that will help them become productive citizens.
Kevin and I have four children; three girls and one boy. They keep us busy in many sporting events and extra-curricular activities. I love watching my kids play ball and I am very passionate about Warriors Basketball. When not at sporting events I enjoy spending time with family and tending to our animals.
